It has a typical absolute accuracy of /- 0.2°C, typical nonlinearity /- 0.15°C and a conversion factor of V /°C 10mV /°C (see Datasheet ‘LM35 Precision Centigrade Temperature Sensors’). With an A/D converter resolution of 22 bits, this sensor provides a resolution of relative temperature measurements of <0.001°C. The sensor is used to measure the temperature of objects around the spectrometer (for example, containers with liquids). It can also indicate the air temperature.
